Anna Pops Update

Our lives will look slightly different in the coming weeks. Yesterday the government imposed a series of necessary measures to protect our health. But doing the right thing for our health unfortunately also means a loss for many local entrepreneurs. Fortunately, together we can reduce that thick line to a very thin line.

Therefore…

1/ Buy gift vouchers from your favorite entrepreneurs. You can trade them in later, but this way you help them now to cover their fixed costs, so that they can continue to exist afterwards.

2/ Do your shopping at local grocery stores and delicatessen shops, at the bakery, fishmonger and greengrocer around the corner.

3/ Event cancelled? Do not ask for a refund, but suggest moving the event or better yet: donate the amount of your participation so that the organization can cover its costs.

4/ Don't shop online at the big chains but at local stores. And who doesn't have a webshop? They may offer home delivery or another creative initiative.

And finally: let us all put on the brakes during this period. Embrace the art of doing nothing, think sustainably and locally, choose quality over quantity and see the opportunities this period offers you. Read that book, work on that dream and above all: take care of each other.
