Testing ground for local makers & circularity & fashion finds
Studio Pops was born in our drive to continue to innovate and from the commitment to turn the fashion economy into a sustainable economy.
Studio Pops is a true testing ground, which you can find as a hidden gem in our store. It is a special place where local makers & circularity & fashion finds alternately take center stage.
Got first Repops its place here. Repops stands for qualitative regained (2nd hand) Clothes . It is a positive alternative to the sales. It is our own customers who can offer their clothing for sale. Circular ideas are central here. In our daily lives, almost everything is available à la minute in seemingly inexhaustible quantities. Fantastic, right? But appearances are deceiving. Our local lifestyle has a significant impact on the global environment. This awareness forms the basis of the Repops concept.
From February onwards, party clothes will be in the spotlight. It's your turn Simple Kids , a local Belgian brand of which the current collection is present. Together with our other collections, we create party outfits with a twist.
What remains to be harvested in the near future?
The next initiative is coming full circle Upcycle Fashion because the past few months have been a real wake-up call for us. Every day we participate in the rat race of collections following each other (too) quickly. This creates an (over)stock with an immense environmental impact as a result. Our answer to this is local creativity . We take this approach together with the young designer Simply-Sil , started revaluing our own stock. The result is a new 'unique piece' made from Belgian linen combined with parts from existing trousers. Undoubtedly, many original, surprising and unique designs can be born from our stock. Hence our call to, just like Silke, too Upcycle Fashion Ambassador to become. The upcycle pieces will be offered for sale in Studio Pops in May. Do not hesitate !
We are convinced that as long as there is creativity, we will find answers to make our fashion more sustainable!
