Merinowol is een natuurlijk wolproduct afkomstig van het merinoschaap en staat bekend om zijn temperatuurregulerende eigenschappen. Het houdt het hoofdje warm, zelfs bij vochtig weer, en helpt onaangename geurtjes te voorkomen. Bovendien is merinowol aanzienlijk zachter en fijner dan gewone wol, waardoor de muts licht, dun en bijzonder comfortabel is om te dragen.
